At 302–316 16th Avenue, Newark, NJ 07103, Leaguers, Inc. and MEND came together to bring more than fresh fruits and vegetables to families, we brought smiles, hope, and a reminder that our community cares.
Together, we provided fresh, local produce to 51 families, reaching 211 household members. The smile on parents’ faces and their heartfelt appreciation showed how much this support meant to them.
For some families, a bag of fresh fruits and vegetables is more than food, it is one less worry, one more healthy meal, and one more reason to feel supported.
We are grateful to MEND for this meaningful partnership and look forward to our upcoming monthly markets.
