The Prenatal Services Program of The Leaguers, Inc. recently hosted a successful "Healthy Pregnancy, Healthy Baby" event, bringing together newly expectant and experienced mothers from across the community for a day of learning, wellness, and support.

The event was designed to provide pregnant women with valuable information, practical resources, and encouragement as they prepare for motherhood. Participants had the opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals, educators, and community partners dedicated to promoting healthy pregnancies and positive birth outcomes.

Among the organizations in attendance were representatives from the Start Program and nursing students from Rutgers University, who shared their knowledge and expertise with the mothers-to-be. Their presentations focused on important topics that impact maternal and infant health, helping participants make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy journey.

The day featured several interactive and educational activities, including a relaxing prenatal yoga session that encouraged physical wellness, stress reduction, and healthy movement during pregnancy. Mothers also participated in workshops covering virus and infection prevention, learning practical ways to protect themselves and their babies.

Additional discussions addressed the dangers of substance abuse during pregnancy, highlighting the importance of healthy lifestyle choices for both mother and child.

The event created a welcoming environment where women could ask questions, share experiences, and build connections with other expectant mothers. Through education, support, and community partnership, The Leaguers, Inc. continues its commitment to ensuring that every mother has access to the resources she needs for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

By empowering families before birth, The Leaguers, Inc. is helping to build stronger, healthier communities, one mother and one baby at a time.
