There was hardly a dry eye in the room as families, teachers, and children gathered at The Leaguers, Inc.'s 10-12 Marshall Street site to celebrate a memorable Moving-On Ceremony. The event marked the end of an important chapter for many young learners as they prepared to leave Head Start and begin their exciting journey into kindergarten.
Parents filled the room with pride, smiles, and tears as they watched their children walk across the stage, receive certificates, and be recognized for their growth and achievements. For many families, it was a moment of reflection, remembering the first day their child entered the program and seeing how much they had learned, grown, and blossomed over the years.
The ceremony was filled with touching performances, joyful laughter, and heartfelt words from teachers who have nurtured and guided the children every step of the way. As the children sang songs and proudly shared what they had learned, emotions ran high among parents and staff alike.
While the day was a celebration of success, it was also a bittersweet farewell. Many teachers became emotional knowing they were saying goodbye to children they had watched grow from curious little learners into confident and kindergarten-ready students. Parents expressed their gratitude for the love, care, and education their children received at The Leaguers, Inc.
As the graduates turned their tassels and prepared for their next adventure, one thing was clear: they will always be part of The Leaguers family. Though they are moving on to kindergarten, they leave behind cherished memories, lasting friendships, and a strong foundation for future success.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your journey is just beginning, and we are proud of every step you have taken.
