A Morning Full of Love, Encouragement, and Support

At 302–316 16th Avenue in Newark, the morning looked a little different as parents came together for “Dad Take Your Child to School.”

The most powerful part of the morning was seeing parents take time to walk alongside their children, encourage them, and remind them that they are not walking through life alone.

For many children, having a parent beside them on the way to school may seem like a small moment, but it can become a memory they carry for years. A simple walk can send a powerful message: “I believe in you. I support you. Your education matters to me.”

Parents gathered, encouraged their children, shared smiles, and helped create an atmosphere where every child could feel seen, supported, and motivated to have a successful school day.

This initiative is about more than getting children to the classroom. It is about family involvement, positive role models, stronger relationships, and building a community where children know that the adults around them believe in their future.
