A New Beginning: The Leaguers, Inc. Comes Together for Pre-Service Convocation
After a week filled with learning, preparation, reflection, and renewed purpose, The Leaguers, Inc. officially welcomed its staff back for the 2026–2027 school year with a powerful and memorable Pre-Service Convocation on Friday, August 28, 2026.
The week served as an important Pre-Service Week, bringing staff together to prepare for another year of serving children, families, and communities. But beyond the meetings, trainings, and preparations, the week represented something even more meaningful, a time for colleagues to reconnect, celebrate accomplishments, reflect on the past year, and look forward to the possibilities of a new beginning.
On Friday, the excitement and anticipation reached its peak as approximately 325 staff members gathered for the Pre-Service Convocation. The room was filled with familiar faces, warm greetings, laughter, smiles, and a renewed sense of togetherness. Staff who had worked side by side throughout the previous school year had the opportunity to reconnect, while new team members were welcomed into the Leaguers family.
The presence of the Board of Trustees made the occasion even more significant, demonstrating the organization's commitment to supporting the people who work tirelessly every day to advance its mission.
Words of Encouragement and Leadership

Renee Miller, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, shared words of encouragement and appreciation with staff. Walter K. Frye, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), also addressed the staff, offering words of encouragement as the organization prepared to begin another school year.
